Verde River, to smooth water scenic trips through Glen Canyon and thrilling White Water
Rafting excursions through the Grand Canyon, both on the Colorado River. Multi-day white
water rafting adventures are anywhere from 3 to 10 days in length, and are probably not

local guide and tour company. You'll not only go to the best spots, but you'll learn a
lot about the area as well. If you're just looking for a relaxing, but fun time floating
on Oak Creek or the Verde River, you can rent your own inner tube, or inflatable kayak
or raft. Rental companies can provide the transportation for your group and equipment,
so all you have to do is go along for the ride. These trips are great for everyone, but
especially for families that have the kids along. It's a much more personal experience
when you're actually floating on the water yourself, "steering" your own craft.
You also can pick your own timetable. Local tours and rentals can be as short as a
half-day.

Sedona with one of our local River Rafting Tour Companies to the Colorado River. Known
for all-types of world-class river adventures, the Colorado River offers the

pull-out at Lee's Ferry, the official beginning of the Grand Canyon. There's plenty of
photographic opportunities as the ground portion of your Colorado River Rafting Tour
from Sedona passes through the Navajo Reservation to your destination at the top of the
Glen Canyon Dam. On your return trip, you'll pass through parts of Marble Canyon and see
the Balanced Rocks, one of the oddities of nature formed by an erosion process called
cliff retreat. You'll even have the opportunity to swim in the Colorado and enjoy lunch
right on the banks of the Colorado River.

by helicopter from the bottom of the Grand Canyon 4,000 ft. in elevation to the rim,
where you'll be transported back home to Sedona.
